Thank you to those constituents who have contacted me recently about Gaza.
The ceasefire has now come into effect and all of the hostages who are still alive have been freed.
However, the situation remains extremely fragile – as I write, there have been further incidents with each side accusing the other of having broken the ceasefire.
It is absolutely vital that aid supplies get in, and the single most important way of achieving this is to make sure that the ceasefire is sustained and that there is no return to the terrible violence and loss of life we have seen.
