Rosie Winterton and Yorkshire Forward Chief Executive Tom Riordan have taken the case to keep HBOS jobs in Yorkshire to the Chair of Lloyds as part of the ongoing fight to ensure HBOS jobs are retained in Yorkshire. The Leeds City Region is home to over 40,000 financial services professionals - significantly higher than alternative locations – and a joint statement by Lloyds TSB and Yorkshire and Humber representatives shows that the case was made strongly for keeping the jobs locally.
