JOBS FROM RENEWABLE ENERGY

The government's consultation on a new Renewable Energy Strategy set out plans to build up Britain's clean energy supply and maintain our energy security, including proposals to encourage around a third of electricity to come from renewable sources by 2020. The strategy will create 160,000 new jobs, and will involve at least £100bn of new investment in the UK by 2020.
